COPYRIGHT NOTICE
TicIt is a copyrighted program being distributed under the shareware
concept. As such, you may use TicIt for a period of 30 days without
registering the software. After the 30 day evaluation period, you
must register your copy of TicIt or you will be in violation of
United States and International copyright laws.
As a shareware program, TicIt my be freely distributed through a
BBS. Shareware distributors may distribute copies of TicIt on disk
for a modest disk duplication charge not to exceed $6 per disk.
It is a violation of the TicIt license agreement to modify the EXE
file in anyway.
TicIt KEY files are non-transferable.
SHAREWARE LIMITATIONS
Until TicIt is registered, it is limited to using five areas. These
limitations do not hamper the would-be TicIt Sysop's ability to
fully evaluate the software; yet, it does encourage registration by
sysops who are truly interested in running TicIt.
WARRANTY
TicIt is distributed without warranty. In no event will ProSoft be
liable to you for damages, including any loss of profits, lost
savings, or other incidental or consequential damages arising out of
your use of or inability to use the program, even if ProSoft or an
authorized representative has been advised of the possibility of
such damages. ProSoft will not be liable for any such claim by any
other party.

INTRODUCTION
TicIt is a FidoNet TIC Processor written expressly for the TriBBS
Bulletin Board System. As such, it can take incoming FidoNet TIC
Files and toss the accompanying file directly into the TriBBS file
base and create TIC's for your FidoNet downlinks. Additionally,
TicIt supports FrontDoor-type mailers. It supports points and all of
the most widely used compression programs. TicIt also supports a
large number of ALLFIX features to allow your downlinks to
automatically request echos without the need for you to intervene.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
TicIt requires 400k free memory, an AT-Compatible machine, and
TriBBS 10.0 or TriBBS/Pro 10.0
SETTING UP TICIT
The first step in setting up TicIt is to create a directory for it.
Use a DOS command similar to the following to create your TicIt
directory:
MD \TICIT
Next, copy the files TICSETUP.EXE and TICIT.EXE to the newly-created
TicIt directory with a DOS command like the following:
COPY TICSETUP.EXE \TICIT
COPY TICIT.EXE \TICIT
THE TICIT CONFIGURATION PROGRAM
---------------------------------
The TicIt configuration program, TICSETUP.EXE, is used to configure
TicIt to toss and scan files. To run the configuration program,
simply enter TICSETUP at the DOS prompt. TICSETUP will present you
with its main menu, which consists of the following options:

BBS Name
The BBS Name is simply the name of your BBS.
Sysop
Your own name, note: This field is used for registration
purposes.
Origin
The Origin line appended to some outgoing ALLFIX messages.
TriBBS
The path to any of TriBBS's Node - TicIt will find Node 1.
